1. Introduction of double screw extrusion experimental facility
The double screw extruder is a universal machine model engaged in studying various extruding puffing, extruding curing, extruding degeneration and others for institutions of higher learning, scientific research institutions, large and medium sized enterprise and public institutions. Through four generations of improvement, the double screw extruder can be adapted to various experiments of grains, potato, starch, protein, chemical industry raw material, plastics, rubbers, and other raw materials. The double screw extruder is powerful in function, convenient to operate, simple to adjust parameter, exact in experimental data and easy to maintain and repair.
2. Powerful function:
The experimental device stresses on multifunction of one machine; it is very expected to complete all tests by one device in the lab; however, different research institutions have different research domains, and the same one research institution has different research topics, and the requirements on extruders are also different; therefore, the adaptation and adjustability are particularly important to experimental device. The experimental double screw extruder is developed after studying German, French, Italy, America, Switzerland and other models, and improved for four times; in particular to the fourth improvement, its functions are tended to be perfect.
3. Technical principle
During the extrusion process, the materials are placed in a sealing cylinder equipped with a screw; along with the compulsory pushing of two screws meshed to each other, materials are extruded, sheared, kneaded and mixed, and materials are under the high temperature state for the heat from the outer part of the cylinder (temperature can be up to 150-200 DEG C); high pressure (pressure reaches 32MPa above) is generated along with the change of sealing capacity and the temperature rise, materials are gradually changed to be gel state of a heat flux variant, and have obtained massive energy; besides, original physical and chemical properties are changed. When the materials are extruded through a die head to enter a constant temperature and pressure state, the material volume is increased; besides, the starch, protein and other nutrient components are degraded at different degrees, and the soluble components are increased.
